2020 Minnehaha County Sheriff Law Enforcement Contract

Background of Issue:
 

Attached is the 2021 Police Services Contract with the Minnehaha County Sherriff’s Department.  The Minnehaha County Sherriff’s Department has submitted the contract for 2021 police services. This service contract covers 154 hours of service per week at a rate of $36.45 per hour.  The City receives a $10,000 discount for use of the space in City Hall for a total of $281,891.60 This amount has been budgeted for 2021.

 
Recommendation:
 

Recommend the Council approve the law enforcement contract with Minnehaha County for 2021 in the amount of $281,891.60.
