Attached is Ordinance No. 887: 2020 Supplemental Appropriations for the 2020 budget. This is to be considered the first reading of the 2020 supplemental appropriations ordinance. At the end of every year it is necessary for the City to define the departments that have the potential to spend over their allotted general fund budget. The supplemental budget reflects the number of dollars that will be injected into that department to cover the expenditure overruns. Attached is a breakdown of each department that will be supplemented and the reasoning for the expense overrun. The total over run for 2020 is $354,845. This overrun is to be covered with the $38,450.00 of the budgeted $50,000 contingency, COVID revenue reimbursement of $165,510.00 as well as FEMA reimbursement of$150,885.00. Note: $0 from general fund reserves.
